When I first stepped into the hotel’s grand lobby, I was impressed by the lush greenery, peaceful atmosphere, and impressive décor. Succulent green floras seemed to envelop me as I walked through the foyer and all throughout the atrium. The front desk attendants were attentive, friendly, helpful, courteous, and answered all of my questions with ease, knowledge, and understanding.
The hotel’s interior is unique and peaceful with live plants, Koi fish, waterfalls, bridges, glass elevators, marvelous courtyard with an indoor terrace style dining area, and exotic plants all underneath a glass ceiling that allows rays of light from the sun to shine through and illuminate the atrium, helping the foliage to stay lush, green, and thriving with life. I felt like I was in paradise and was amazed by such beauty encapsulated into one hotel.
The suites surround the vast and flourishing greenery. I got a bird’s eye view of the atrium from my 6th story window and it was absolutely beautiful.
Every room is actually a two room suite that is spacious with a large bedroom and separate dining/living room that is fully equipped with a kitchenette, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, work desk/dining table, sofa, and a large flat screen television in each room of the suite. These amenities make the Embassy Suites North in Anaheim, California a great place to stay when traveling with children, because it offers flexibility, comfort, and more space for relaxation and solitude. The hotel is also pet friendly and will welcome your beloved pet with open arms.
I was very impressed with the suite that I stayed in. When I entered the suite, I immediately noticed the spacious and immaculately clean living room, with a pull-out couch that converts into a bed, the huge flat screen TV, stylish dining table that can also be used as a work table along with dining chairs and an ergonomic office chair. The framed paintings that adorn the walls add beauty to each room of the suite and the colors blend with the décor harmoniously creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere.
As I entered the bedroom, I saw upon the countertop area near the sink, carefully folded towels that were sculpted into swan figures and some others with an exquisite fan design. They looked so pretty that I almost did not want to touch them. The bedroom had two double beds, but there are also suites available with a single king sized bed as well. I have to say, the bed that I slept upon is and was the most comfortable bed that I have experienced sleeping on in a hotel. Many hotel beds feel hard with little to no cushioning, but that is simply not the case at the Embassy Suites North in Anaheim, California. The pillows and blankets are soft, plush, and consolatory, while the mattress is supportive and provides an enjoyable sleeping experience.
The bathroom adjacent to the bedroom is also spacious with a large mirror and bathtub that is tastefully designed and relaxing.
I had a chance to speak with the manager of the hotel, Mr. Juergen Oswald, and when I told him how impressed I was with the amenities and accommodations of my suite, he happily informed me that every suite in the hotel is just like the one my daughter and I stayed in. I thought that was wonderful to know that everyone that stays at the Embassy Suites North in Anaheim can experience the same quality of service, ambiance, beauty, and comfortable accommodations that I did.
A delicious complimentary breakfast is served every morning, including custom made omelettes, fluffy pancakes, French toast, hash browns, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, fresh pastries, muffins, hot oatmeal, bagels, and a variety of hot and cold beverages to choose from. In the evening, down in the lobby area, you can also attend the manager’s reception that is held nightly, in which there is salsa, chips, creamy dressing, and popcorn, along with beverages to quench your thirst. The manager’s reception is also a great way to meet and get to know new people. In the morning or evening, you can either eat in the lobby/atrium area or take your food up to your room.
If you want to workout, there is a fully equipped fitness center that is open 24 hours a day. After you workout, you can swim a few laps in the indoor pool or just relax in the warm Jacuzzi.
The hotel also has a business center that is fitted with fast computers, where you can easily access the internet free of charge.
There is ample free parking for all guests and spaces surround the entire circumference of the hotel. While staying at the Embassy Suites, I visited Disneyland and I recommend the hotel’s convenient shuttle service. For only $5.00 per person, the shuttle will take you to Disneyland and at the end of your day’s visit, take you back to the hotel. This service is convenient and worth looking into if you are planning on visiting Disneyland during your hotel stay.
